About Speaker
Tara Burke is an Agent with Tara Burke Farmers Insurance Agency. She joined Farmers in 2016 after working with State Farm. She loved the team at Farmers and was proud to be part of this growing company. Farmers shares in the values and compassion for clients that Tara models in her agency. As a self-proclaimed insurance nerd, Tara enjoys learning and sharing about insurance any chance she gets. She will share insurance tips and knowledge to anyone who will listen, even if they are not her clients.

Owning her own Agency was important because Tara is also a mother of 3 children who keep her very busy. She wanted to have the best of both worlds, leading a career and being an active mom. Tara and her husband, Kyle moved to Georgia in 2011 from beautiful Naples, Florida. Georgia was an ideal location for hiking and taking lots of road trips. The family loves to get outside and enjoy nature when they are not running to different sporting events.

Tara loves the community feel that surrounds Tucker, and is a member The Tucker Rotary, FUSE Network and Dekalb County Chamber of Commerce. With gratitude for the local Police Departments in all of Dekalb County, Tara and her Agency support them on a monthly basis with breakfast and snacks.

Tara and Kyle are very passionate about wealth and debt management. The couple teaches a marriage preparation class that focuses on finance communication in your marriage. Exercising, listening to audio books, and listening to live music are some of Tara’s favorite things to do.
